graduated from Georgia State University’s Graduate School
of Music (Maser of Music, majoring Orchestra Conductor) after completing composition, piano, and conducting in Europe,
including Korea and Russia, and won first place in the MPICW
International Conducting Competition and excellence in chorus
at the 25th Nan-pa Festival in Korea.
He also served as the principal conductor at Morehouse College
and Spelman Women’s College Orchestra in Atlanta for 10 years,
conducting Kiev National Orchestra, Kharikov Phil (Ukrain), Ploisti
Phil (Romania), Zabrze Phil (Poland).
Maestro Lee conducted Verdi’s masterpiece, opera ‘La Traviata’
at the Constantza Opera House în România, since he was invited
to the concert for the 200th anniversary of Verdi’s birth.
He has already been active in Europe, Russia, Israel, Egypt,
Korea, Japan, and the United States under international fame.
He has been the artistic director/standing conductor of the New
Atlanta Philharmonic since 2000, and founded the New Atlanta
Youth Orchestra in 2001 to discover more than 1,000 youth
members. In particular, he coached soprano Lina Jung, who
won the grand prize at the Schmidt Vocal Competition as a high
school student, and the debut stage posted on.
In addition, it has been holding Liberation Day concerts every
year since 2000, marking its 22nd annual concert this year.
Since 1991, he has been the first Korean to hold classical music
exchanges with Japan, held guest concerts in Tokyo, Kyoto,
Osaka, and Kobe, and played as a guest conductor at the JC2000
Festival in Egypt and Israel.

(former Atlanta Symphony Orchestra), tuba player Bill Pritchard,

He also led the chamber music by founding the Peach Prime
Orchestra, Eurasian Chamber, and Atlanta Sinfonia.
